Be confident! It sounds super corny, but the better you feel about yourself, the better you’ll look. —Lauren Perlstein

Fake a Tummy Tuck

Twist your torso, turning one shoulder toward the camera and the other away from it, says Atlanta body-language expert Patti Wood. "It makes you look very slender."

Just have fun! Whimsical, dynamic photos are so much more interesting than super-posed ones. Catching those spontaneous smiles and in-between moments is key. —Lauren Perlstein

Stick Your Neck Out

Push your face forward ever so slightly, says Mimi Dorsey. It makes your face look thinner and hides any sign of a double chin.
